Today was fantastic. The fishing was slow on the Outer Cape Cod beaches. Actually from all the Cape beaches. The rain ended at about 12:45pm. Following the advice of the sage salesmen at the Goose Hummock shop, we ventured up to Truro to ply the fishing arts yet again. The water was about 63 degrees in the Atlantic Ocean. Sunshine was hit or miss after the rain ended, as you can see from the picture below.
We caught one 20″ striped bass, one 3# bluefish, and the spiny dogfish pictured below
What day of fishing is not complete without an attempt at art. Atlantic beaches are a lot like art.
